Anyone remember this spell?
This maybe a forgotten spell,
but one of the greatest ever in test cricket history as my pov!
This spell gave a special message to the whole cricket world about Malinga!
Yokers! Yokers! Yokers!
5 wickets for 68 runs and in this spell Malinga continuously bowled like throwing grenades to the Kiwi's and most of the Kiwi batsman were clueless infront of his world class bowling!
Also love the discussion of Shastri & Akram at the end.
Akram was spot on about Malinga's future!
Agree or not,
International Cricket is definitely missing Ravi Shastri as a commentator.
His voice is amazingly clear & powerful,
Plus he was genuinely neutral commentator.
Ravi & Tony's commentary tops the list of most loved things in our wonderful childhood!
Sadly those lovely days will never come again...!
